In case the FCS is leased per month (ASP-Model), the role of the
s-admin is in the hands of factline representatives. When the FCS is
purchased and installed on the customers server, the customer himself
has the role of the s-admin. The first task of the s-admin is setting
up the platform, which includes:
- Giving a name to the platform (as it appears in the header of its web pages): "NETWEIs"
- Domain name: For example, http://netweis.factlink.net (Sub-domain
from factline) or www.netweis.at (linking to an actual domain of the
customer).
- Selecting the platform administrator
- Enabling the desired services (texts, news, chat...)
Forms of use: ASP and self- installation are possible.
FCS offered as ASP solution: The
server remains located at factline, furthermore, the functions of the
system administrators are taken over by factline. The system can also
be installed on the server of the customer over an Intranet or the
Internet; in this case the customer is the system administrator.
