You are able to fix an option in p-admin interface that allows your platform's users to get informed by e-mail when somebody answers a comment.
Working steps to enable "Instant Notification " in comments.
|1| Choose „Interface“ in the main menu.
|2| Click the „modify“-Button in "Advanced page layout configuration".
|3| Enable the option by checking the checkbox "show checkbox" and decide if the checkbox should be clicked by default. Key in an e-mail subject and optionally change the default e-mail body. Finally click "Save changes".
