After the installation of the platform by the s-admin, it is the p-admins
turn to begin to take control. At this point, still no one can place
contents on the platform, not even the p-admin himself. The p-admin
must first determine, as already mentioned above, the "rules of the
house(which groups are there and who is permitted to read/write what)
and distribute the keys to the users (arrange users
into different groups). After that the p-admin arranges the
organization of the house (= the contents), by creating folders and texts accessible to certain groups. The function of the p-admin is described in detail in the next part of the training manual.
Registration of the p-admin:
Everyone that will become a
platform administrator must first register as a normal user, so that
the s-admin of the initialized platform can designate that person as a
p-admin. It is enough if this person has registered himself on any
platform (for example, on the test platform for users of FCS, http://test.kundenplattform.com).
